Watershed Directors are five unpaid volunteers who direct their Watershed's programs. There are two watersheds in Pickens County with elected Watershed Directors: George's Creek Watershed and Oolenoy Watershed.
All Watershed Directors are elected for a term of four years each by voters residing within the watershed.
County elections are held in November for the following year's term.
The Pickens Soil & Water Conservation District oversees the Watershed Boards.
